The Melville Court (MC) Home Owners Association (HOA) Board Members continue to hold monthly meetings to enable the business of MC with no interruptions in services, projects and general up keepings. During these difficult last couple of years in the midst of a pandemic, we have adjusted to do things differently (e.g. virtual meetings) and continue strong, unabated in our efforts to maintain our beautiful community while adhering to any new restrictions that the times have presented to us.
WE SERVE BECAUSE WE CARE
Your HOA board members volunteer to serve MC while doing their day jobs, and having their own home and family obligations. We have undertaken and successfully finished many new projects (such as, new retaining wall and lit community signage) over the last year. Also regular maintenances (such as, landscaping, tree trimmings, new plants, new furniture for pool) has been kept up immaculately during this period. You should be very pleased to know that through all of these we have managed our expenses very well, ensuring assessments are not levied on the MC community and keeping the status of HOA financial books healthy. This has all been possible thanks to the time and efforts of your board members to research and get the best contractors at an affordable price through competitive biddings, which as you can understand isn’t easy in an environment of rising inflation this and last year. We will continue to put our best efforts on all things needed for our community. We would also love to hear your feedbacks, suggestions and any other sort of constructive help you are interested in providing. Your ideas, time and volunteer efforts are welcome, and let us together keep our community better and beautiful.
POOL SEASON: The MC community pool is open to all members and their guests (weather permitting) from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm during the days noted below. Swimming is only allowed when the lifeguard is on duty. Please bring your ID (e.g. driver license) to be admitted inside the pool. Also note, all children less than 18 years of age have to have an accompanying adult at all times to use the MC community pool. Infants/toddlers in diapers or not toilet trained are required to wear rubberized bathing suits or “Little Swimmers” equivalents. Pets are not permitted inside the pool premises. Please obey all posted pool rules and ensure children maintain good behavior, to share and enjoy our pool with all our community.

TRASH AND RECYCLING: Please secure all trash and recycling items to prevent them from blowing around the community. We have been seeing stronger winds recently so it is advised to keep them out for collection as close to the pickup time as you can. Also to prevent wild life (e.g. raccoons) creating a mess by reaching into your garbage, please use trash cans with hinge attached snapping tight lids.
PET RULES: Residents are reminded that pets are not permitted on the grass in any part of the community or on other home owners at any time and must be on a leash. Violation will result in fines.
SPEED LIMIT & STOP SIGN: Our kids are often at play, on and about our community. Residents are reminded to follow posted speed limits and all rules for safe driving, stopping at intersections and turns.
NEW WALL AND SIGN:As you must have noticed, we have a new wall and sign. If you didn’t know, the old wall was falling apart regularly and was nearly 30 years old, so we embarked on having a new wall last year. Glad to inform that this huge project of many months has been successfully, economically and beautifully brought to completion. Here are a few pictures of our brand new wall and signage.
